Jessica Chan is an upcoming Software Engineer who works with various types of applications to benefit all those who use them. Jessica believes being passionate about learning and being flexible with different technologies will result in applicable technological solutions and satisfied clients. From learning React for frontend work to learning fast.ai for creating neural nets, Jessica’s desire to learn and face new challenges contributed to successful projects.

Jessica has garnered different useful skills from various work experiences. Her time at CodeLabs 2020, a virtual internship organized by CodeDay, proved to be fruitful after successfully creating a convolutional neural network model embedded into a web app with her team. Jessica honed her hardware and software skills by assisting the Stony Brook University School of Nursing as a Technical Support Team Member. Jessica also received a certificate as an AT&T Summer Learning Academy Extern during quarantine.

Jessica is currently in her final year of pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science from Stony Brook University as a part of the Class of 2021.
